Our Mission
Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. Isaiah 1:17
Our mission is to take up the cause of the fatherless in Mexico.
Our Vision
Remove the heavy yoke of oppression…Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. Isaiah 58:10
Our vision is to end cycles of abuse, neglect and poverty by reaching the hearts of the youngest generation of Mexican people with the love of Jesus Christ.
Who We Serve
We serve Mexican infants and
toddlers who are wards of the state of Baja California. They have been removed
from their homes or from the hospital by Mexican authorities and placed into
our care by the Mexican social services (DIF).
How We Serve
We provide a clean, safe,
Christ-centered environment in which we nurture and care for babies. We keep
our ratio of babies to adults low in order to give the maximum amount of love
and attention to each baby. As there is currently no foster care system in
Mexico, we aim to provide a similar type of care in which our babies are part
of our GBH family.
Why We Serve
God instructs all believers
throughout His word to care for orphans.
We believe that the battle against hunger, poverty and injustice is a
spiritual battle, and that the only weapon powerful enough to effectively win
this battle is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our hope is that through the
transforming power of Jesus Christ, the lives of these babies will not only be
changed, but they will then be used to reach the rest of Mexico and the world
with the love of Jesus.
